Add On-boarding

A short, to the point walk-through on how to use the application. We chose to go with 4 screens and add the option to skip on-boarding for users who feel more adventurous.

Reason

By deciding to make the camera, the home page, we wanted to make sure users felt confident with the navigation options available. We chose to open to the camera first from our user research and to meet business requirements.

  • Allow for quick capture of news events.

  • Opted for the "Write Story", button to be front and center so that users can access creating their original post swiftly.

  • Camera opening puts the users in a reporter mindset from the initial launch.
