My Specialties
Building UX interactions for information with gaming principles.
Translating Research findings into business requirements and customer journeys.
Product Team collaboration activities to share skills.
UNDERSTAND BUSINESS GOALS
Prior to engaging in UX, I worked business strategy for Equinox Gaming. Framing business goals will define scope for a project.
Consider..
What business opportunities am I solving for?
Examining the possibilities where business requirements can satisfy user needs?
Is this really the problem that users are concerned with? Should this be a business priority?
START USER RESEARCH
Making assumptions help to consturct a starting ground for aligned exploration. Build bases by testing assumptions.
Construct the context of the intended use, want, or need of the experience.
Collect data in each phase dealing with the user.
DEVELOP CONTENT
Why is content strategy so important?
Provides your site visitors with consistent messages.
Builds credibility through that consistency.
Strengthens the brand.
Keeps writers on purpose, on message.
Keeps the web site from being cluttered with outdated and inaccurate information.
WIREFRAME FOR PRECISION
Sketch ideas out - it helps, then flush out selected ideas.
These are low cost, low commitment ways to develop and gain diverse results before moving too far into the design.
Great for group thinking.

COGZ by Boost
Redesign Website and Digital Platform
From web searching to arriving on the landing page, there is a lack of clarity around the COGZ product. Understanding that “COGZ is an employee recognition and engagement solution for small businesses who might otherwise not have access to a formalized program.” Will be essential in attracting and onboarding an audience.
After completing a UX analysis over the website and platform, I decided to focus on opportunities relating to usability metrics; Match between system and the real world, recognition rather than recall, aesthetic and minimalist design, and help and documentation to improve the overall onboarding experience.
Problems
Lack of customer engagement and retention
Need help explaining the value of the product
A difficult and unclear onboarding process
Main Goals
Create an easy path for users to learn what the product is, sign-up, and start using the platform
Reduce the time internal team members spend onboarding clients to the platform.
(accounting for uptick in traffic from SEO to website)Boost engagement with smaller companies.

Building a website
The client needed a space for her customer’s to see all of the services she offered. Our client was also looking for ways to minimize the amount of calls she received from customer’s who needed basic questions answered. We took a content first design approach as we should, but this time, the client had all of what we needed. Crazy.
Problems
Needed a central location to show her business and services to clients
Needs a place for customers to request an appointment
Customer’s need to be aware of pre service procedures to make the experience go more smoothly
